ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER

​We're looking for someone to join our team for the 2026 Season and hopefully beyond! This is a full time (roughly 30-32 hours), seasonal position, from late April to early November.​  Prior vegetable farm experience is preferred but not required. A strong interest in growing and harvesting great food is a must!  Primary responsibilities include bed preparation, planting, weeding, harvesting, processing, washing and packing a variety of seasonal vegetables. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn all the tricks of the trade from an experienced farmer who is willing to teach!

  • Likes to work efficiently and takes pride in their craft

  • Enjoys working in all types of weather!​

​RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ​Help prepare beds for planting, including broadforking and spreading amendments

  • Transplanting (by hand and paperpot machine) and Direct Seeding

  • Pulling/ Flipping old beds (tearing out old veggies to make way for new)

  • Weeding / Cultivating / Hoeing

  • Training and Trellising Tomatoes and Cucumbers 

  • Wash, weigh, bag, bunch and pack vegetables for Farmer’s Market, wholesale and CSA Pick-ups

  • Help Harvest a variety of vegetables: from Salad Greens to Tomatoes to Kale to Carrots!

  • Follow detailed instructions

  • Maintain simple records

A TYPICAL WEEK ON THE FARM

(always subject to weather and need)

  • Tuesday - prepare beds for planting, transplant and direct seed

  • Wednesday - cultivating, trellising, greenhouse seeding

  • Thursday: - Harvest! Spray Roots.

  • Friday - Harvest, Wash and Pack for market and wholesale

 

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Seasonal Position: April 23 (ideally) - November 20th.

  • Hours start smaller in April and ramp up to Full Time by Mid- May.

  • Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 4pm (flexible: start and end time may be adjusted)

  • Pay is based on experience (but starts at $16/ hr)

  • Access to a good amount of free farm veggies!

  • Be part of a great team!​

Harvest, WASH & Pack CREW

We're looking for someone to join our Harvest, Wash and Pack Crew for the 2026 Season and hopefully beyond! This is a part-time seasonal position, mostly on Fridays, from late April to early November.​  No prior experience required. Primary responsibilities include processing, washing and packing a variety of freshly picked vegetables and helping to harvest them! 

IDEAL APPLICANT:

  • Positive attitude!

  • Strong interest in local farming and food

  • Great at following systems

  • Enjoys getting themselves dirty and getting veggies clean!

  • Attention to Detail

  • Likes to work in a fast paced and physical environment

  • Enjoys working in all types of weather!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ​Wash, weigh, bag, bunch and pack vegetables for Farmer’s Market and CSA Pick-ups

  • Help Harvest a variety of vegetables: from Tomatoes to Kale to Carrots!

  • Follow detailed instructions

  • Maintain records

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Seasonal Position: April 24(ideally) - November 20.

  • Main shift runs on Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm

  • Optional additional hours may be available during the week

  • Pay is based on experience (but starts at $16 / hr)

  • Access to free farm veggies!

  • Be part of a great team!
